Thank you to those who have bought puzzle pieces to help us buy our plane tickets to Ghana. We cannot tell you how grateful we are for your donations. You may notice on the right that we have a new "thingy" that shows how much we have earned so far. This "thingy" reflects how much we have earned from the puzzle fundraiser. It does not include other funds we have earned previously. If you are interested in buying a puzzle piece just hit the donate button below the thermometer. We are asking for a $10 donation per piece. Thank you again for your generosity.

And the first peice goes to...
Mrs. Angela Skellie. Thank you Ms. Angela for helping us get to Ghana. We may not remember being stationed with you but we will forever remember that you bought the first piece of the puzzle!
A piece of the puzzle
How would you like to be a piece of the puzzle that helps us get to Ghana to bring our brother and sister home? Well, take a look at this fundraiser and you can be a piece of that puzzle!
Here is how it works. You can buy a puzzle piece for $10. We will put your name on the back of the puzzle piece or pieces, if you buy more than one. Once Hannah and Isaiah get home we will put the puzzle together and they can see the names of all the people who helped their brother and sister get to Ghana.
At the top right of the blog there is a Chip In link. Click on this to donate through Paypal. If you would like to pay by a different means please leave a comment with your email address and we can make arrangements for that. Leave a comment below stating that you donated and the name or names you would like us to write on the puzzle piece.
Our goal is to pay for our own plane tickets and to have a little extra left over for souvenirs. Mom says that $4500 should cover that. Any extra we make will go to my mom and dad to help cover their fees.
Thank you so much for reading our blog and for being a part of our adoption process!
God bless,
Jake and Lauren

Slow...but getting closer!
As kids, we are very impatient. With this adoption we have no choice but to be patient! Some days it feels like we are so close to bringing our brother and sister home but other days it seems so far away. We are very excited to meet Hanna and Isaiah and to be a family of 8! As of right now my mom and dad are still hoping to make the first trip to Ghana around July or August. We hope to be flying with our mom on the second trip around November. Please join us in praying Hannah and Isaiah home before the end of this year!
On another note, we will soon be starting a fundraiser on here to help us buy our tickets to Ghana. So please stay tuned!
Thanks and have a wonderful week!
